blackolive brokers around 1,600 m² at Untermainkai 27-28, Frankfurt

The Untermainkai 27-28 office building in Frankfurt has gained a new tenant. The letting of the last 1,600 m² of office space means that the listed and sustainably refurbished building is now fully let. The new tenant, infrastructure company Giga Fiber GmbH, will use the ground floor and first floor of the property as its headquarters from now on. blackolive, a member of German Property Partners (GPP), acted as the company's exclusive agent for the letting. blackolive advised the owner, a Cara Group company, via a landlord advisory mandate.

The listed building on Untermainkai with its neo-renaissance façade was built in the 19th century and is situated in a prominent city location directly on the banks of the River Main, opposite the historic museum embankment. In the past, it housed the municipal health department and the headquarters of an international bank, among other things. With around 4,000 m² of rental space, it combines history with modern flair and impressed the user with its successful building, fit-out and location quality.
