blackolive exclusively supports trendtours in the conclusion of their rental contract

trendtours Touristik GmbH, which is one of the ten largest tour operators in Germany with a turnover of over 300 million euros (2019), is moving from the tranquil town of Kriftel in the Main-Taunus district to the rapidly growing business centre of Eschborn in July 2022. The specialist for best-ager travel rents 4,250 sqm in the "Maxxon" in Düsseldorfer Straße 9 and is thus the single global user of the property, which was completely refurbished in 2010. The lease agreement was concluded on a long-term basis.

"Despite flexible working time models, we need more space for new employees in the course of our planned growth," says Markus Daldrup, CEO of trendtours Touristik, explaining his decision. After a long search process, blackolive finally succeeded in finding the ideal property. "Our future home is located much more centrally, is very well connected and in this respect easier to reach. The perfect infrastructure in the immediate vicinity offers our employees many advantages and will make our search for new qualified employees much easier," knows trendtours boss Daldrup.

"I am very pleased about the successful cooperation with Markus Daldrup and trendtours. This proves that even in difficult times it is possible to find satisfactory solutions for everyone together," says Kevin Nguyen, office leasing manager and partner at blackolive. blackolive, a member of the German Property Partners (GPP) network, had been exclusively commissioned by trendtours Touristik GmbH with the office space search. On the landlord side, Colliers International acted in an advisory capacity on behalf of the owner Real Capital Holding.

With the move to the business centre of Eschborn, the travel company is not only leaving behind its birthplace, but also a part of its past. In 2005, company founder Werner Scheidel had launched trendtours Touristik GmbH in Kriftel as a group travel specialist for older people. Before that, he had earned his money with coffee tours for senior citizens. What has remained is the strategic focus on the target group of best agers. Otherwise, much has changed since the company was sold to the family investor Bregal three years ago. Turnover and guest numbers have increased significantly and the product range is being consistently expanded. After adding tours for small groups to the program a year ago, trendtours has recently started offering beach package tours for the older generation.

 The property

The Maxxon building ensemble is located in the middle of the Rhine-Main area in Eschborn, excellently connected to the motorway network. The ensemble offers an attractive office location for around 900 employees. The property extends from Frankfurter Straße to Düsseldorfer Straße and is located at the entrance to the "Eschborn-Süd" industrial estate. The spacious lobby on the ground floor, including a staffed reception, is just a few of the advantages that speak in favour of the property, in addition to the flexible layout of the floors and the natural ventilation through openable windows.
