Gleiss Lutz has extended the long-term lease for its Frankfurt office at Taunusanlage. The internationally active German commercial law firm is the anchor tenant of the "T11" office tower, which was completely revitalised before it was occupied in 2014. Founded in 1990, the Frankfurt office today employs around 90 lawyers who advise on all aspects of commercial law. Frankfurt is the second largest office of the firm, which is represented in the most important business locations in Germany. Gleiss Lutz will continue to occupy a total of around 7,500 sqm of office and event space on a long-term basis.
"We are very pleased that with T11, prominently located on the corner of Mainzer Landstraße and Taunusanlage, we have been able to secure an ideal working environment for our great Frankfurt team on a long-term basis; we also appreciate the continuation of the trusting cooperation with the landlord AEW. We believe in the importance of an attractive office workspace for productive and close collaboration in our teams," explains Frankfurt partner Dr Bernhard Busch, who assisted in the negotiations to extend the lease for Gleiss Lutz. Co-Managing Partner Dr. Alexander Schwarz adds: "Our Frankfurt office is established at the top of the market, and we see exciting opportunities for further development here, also due to the city's recent even greater importance, particularly in the area of financial institutions. The contract renewal for the landmark building, which is highly valued by both clients and staff, is an excellent basis for this."
Tim Schlüter, Executive Director of AEW comments: "We are very pleased about the early extension of our anchor tenant Gleiss Lutz and thank them also on behalf of our investors for the trust they have placed in us."
