Akbank is second anchor tenant at THE TWIST in Eschborn

STRABAG Real Estate can welcome the second anchor tenant in THE TWIST. A long-term lease of almost 3,000 sqm has been signed with Akbank AG for the bank's German headquarters. The German subsidiary of the Turkish Akbank AG has secured the top three floors for its new headquarters directly on Frankfurter Straße in Eschborn South. Modern working environments will be created here for its approximately 190 employees. The two roof terraces on the 5th floor will be a highlight and meeting point with a special quality. In addition, a lease agreement was signed with the trading company Process Pack International GmbH for a rental unit of just under 400 sqm. Both contracts were brokered by blackolive, a member of German Property Partners (GPP).

"In THE TWIST, we have found the sustainable building concept and suitable space we were looking for our headquarters," said Mehmet Tugal, CEO at Akbank AG. "We are pleased to have signed the lease agreement with Akbank AG and are currently in advanced discussions for the remaining space. This brings us to an occupancy rate of around 85 percent," summarizes Andreas Hülsken, division manager of STRABAG Real Estate GmbH in the Rhine-Main region. "THE TWIST is attractive because a variety of New Work work environments can easily be realized in the space. In addition, the Eschborn location is in high demand and will continue to attract numerous companies," Hülsken is certain.

When equipping THE TWIST, STRABAG Real Estate attached great importance to high standards: Both buildings are Platinum certified for their outstanding digital infrastructure via WiredScore and also have DGNB certification in Gold. Beko Grundig Deutschland GmbH already uses around 2,700 sqm of office space in THE TWIST for its Northern European headquarters and 520 sqm for a showroom.
